Openlands, the National Park Service, and the Forest Preserve District of Cook County invite you to participate in Improving the Calumet Area Water Trails. Through this "Crowdsourcing the Calumet" online platform you can report and propose water trail improvements related to infrastructure, stewardship, recreation, and education.

How to use this Crowdmap:

• View the data. Click the "Layers" dropdown menu to view data gathered through previous planning meetings with the Calumet Area Water Trails Advisory Committee. Click the "Filter Reports By" dropdown menu or "Reports" page to view data submitted by the public through Crowdsourcing the Calumet.
• Submit a report. Click on "Submit a Report" to propose water trail improvements or indicate where assets already exist. There are several ways to submit a report, click "How to Report" to learn more.
• Get alerts. Stay updated on planning progress and planning-related events. Don't worry, we won't spam you!
