Thank you for participating! By submitting information through Crowdsourcing the Calumet, you are helping us to create a shared vision for the Calumet Area Water Trails.
Instructions:
- Give your report a title. Something short and descriptive like, "Cool bridge over the Little Calumet River," or "Potential Boat Launch Site in South Holland."
- Describe your report. Explain what it is, who's involved, when it's happening (if applicable), and any other important details. Include a link to the event posting, a related news source or a video if one is available.
- Select categories. Selecting categories will help the Planning Team understand what your report is about and make it easier to search for. Hover over the categories for more explanation about each one.
- Provide a location. A default location marker (red) is automatically placed on the map. Click "Delete Last," then select the location for your report. If you are marking a location on the water trail, zoom in as much as possible when placing a location marker. You can also use an address or GPS coordinates to find a location.
- Upload photos. Photos must be smaller than 2MB or they won't upload.
- Provide contact information. This is completely optional; to keep your report anonymous, simply leave this section blank.
- Click Submit! Submitted reports will automatically upload to the crowdmap. Once a report is reviewed by the planning team, it will be listed as "verified."
